'From An 1812 Liverpool Mercury.'

From the 'Liverpool Mercury' dated Friday, May 22d, 1812.

The Commissioners, in a commission of bankrupt, bearing date the 28th day of January, 1812, awarded and issued forth against William Cross, of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, Draper and Tailor, intend to meet on the 29th day of May inst. at one in the afternoon, at Forshaw's, the Globe Tavern, in John-street, in Liverpool, aforesaid, to make a dividend of the estate and effects of the said bankrupt; when and where the creditors who have not already proved their debts are to come prepared to prove the same, or they will be excluded the benefit of the said dividend: and all claims not then proved will be disallowed. For New York, the American ship Jefferson, Warton Howland, Master, burthen about 300 tons, a very good fast-sailing vessel, has convenient accommodations for passengers, and will be dispatched immediately for Sandy Hook, to wait for orders. For freight or charter, the American ship Phoenix, Obed. Freeman, Jun. Master, burthen about 400 tons, a very fine vessel, and will be ready to receive a cargo in the course of a few days. For further particulars apply to Capatain Freeman, on board, or to Cropper, Benson, and Co.

(To sail in a few days,) passage for Philadelphia, the fine coppered American ship, Bainbridge, Richard Gray, Master, burthen about 360 tons, and has superior accommodations for passengers.- For further particulars apply to Capt. Gray on board, east side King's Dock, or to Cropper, Benson & Co.
